BioMy name is Nadia, and I am 23 yrs. old. Let me explain my name: Pixies-my favorite band of all time, next to PJ Deal-to my favorite heroines-Kim and Kelley Deal of the Breeders. Kim inspired me to pick up bass (which I still haven't gotten one:() and Kelley for proving you are NEVER to old to pick up an instrument.:) Also, Kim Deal is on my icon pic:)
I LOVE the Pixies and PJ. Grew up as a "metal baby" got into Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, OLD Metallica, and a bunch of others. Thanks to my older brother, Mart.
I recently graduated from Texas State University at San Marcos on Dec. 2003 where I majored in Mass Communication-Electronic Media AND History w/a minor in Media Studies.
I previously worked for the campus radio station, KTSW 89.9 where I had my own show, PLANET OF SOUND for those of you who heard it, you know it ROCKED!:) And also I was a member of the production staff in which I made public service announcements and "sweepers" which is a 15 sec. praise for our station. hehe.
Now I am moving to CA b/c I REALLY can't stay in TX anymore. I don't like it, and I have lived here for 23 years of my life, it is time for me to get out!

UPDATE: moving back to TX for personal and finanical reasons, I am SO going to miss CA...maybe another time when I actually have some $
